Now, I don't know what would happen if I report the accident to my insurance company, GEICO. If I report the accident, I get repair money for the lady's insurance company? if so, how much would I get from the insurance company? and if it's not enough I have to use my own pocket money? Does this count as my fault and would increase my insurance payment? And, I did not take any photos of the cars at the time. How can I prove the accident if the lady insists the accident did not happen? Sorry, it's a lot of questions. It is my first time ever to get into a car accident since I started driving. I'd really really really thank you if you can please give me your advice or share your experiences. and one more thing, if you get your car to a repair center, how long does it usually take to get your car repaired? I live on California, and it's very inconvenient without a car. About 3-4 months ago I was parked in a supermarket car park. My mum, opened the passenger door where the wind blew and hit the car next to us. This date is also incorrect where this 'accident' actually happened on the 1st May (my car insurance renewal date). have a few issues I could really use some help with. The family car that I have been driving wasn't in my name but I was still covered on the insurance until one day I hit a mailbox with the passenger side mirror. The mailbox did not sustain any damage but the mirror somewhat did. I didn't call the police when it happened since the damage was extremely minimal. Anyways, then a couple weeks later a different family member (not the owner) had a little bit of a bigger accident when an animal suddenly appeared in front of the car forcing another accident. I have not had an accident in over 12 years but since I was mentioned after that second accident, I was also excluded from the insurance policy for that vehicle. The insurance cost is something like $158.00 per month but now they want the owner to add about $50 or $60 more per month EACH for the 2 people that were excluded because of the accidents.The car payment is about $415.00 per month and the insurance was $158.00 per month for just the owned which does not even drive the car at all but now they want an extra hundred per month for those 2 excluded drivers if they want to drive that car. Will this change if we switched insurance companies? And if I haven't had an accident in over 12 years, would it be possible to appeal that? Thanks in advance

Yesterday I got a quote from Geico on renters insurance. They said that I would have $6,000 personal belongings protection, $100,000 personal liability, with a $500 deductible. It was dark and raining. I just came off the bay bridge in SF and am positive I was driving below 40 on the bridge and between 40-60 when I got off the bridge. The cop was on 80E past fremont exit. Why cant I find cheap car insurance?
I am 17 and just about to pass my test, I am after a 1 litre to 1.2 litre small ish car. I can afford the car which is no problem but when I look for car insurance its bringing quotes up at the cheapest 4500. Hi, i am 17 in just over 2 weeks, and looking at car insurance i am shocked.. Cheapest i have found is 4900 fully comp on a vauxhall corsa (1L), and all other cars are over 5k which is like a grand over the price of the cars. This is a bit pricey seeing as im not going to be using me car at all during the week when at school, but some weekends i will, but my parents are just saying i gotta accept its expensive and they dont mind paying. Anyway i heard today that if your dad owned his own business (which mine does) then you could get car insurance for like 1k on pretty much any standard car, is this true? Im the oldest sibling and therefore my parents dont really know much about getting good car insurance quotes, i know more than them tbh, so does anyone know anything about this way of insuring? Why don't people just buy themselves health insurance?
I am 26 years old and have had a major back surgery. Still I pay just $98/month for my Blue Cross of California PPO health insurance.
